Which Test Do You Need?
That depends on what you want to know. Just as with blood testing, the more you know, the more capable you are of determining the correct course of action.
If you're on well water, you'll want to know about bacteria which can pose an immediate health threat, as well as naturally occurring items such as arsenic, radon, barium, iron and manganese.
Municipalities only test for pesticides and herbicides every three years – or longer if they have a special permit.
The EPA recommends testing your water annually for bacteria and nitrates. If you have any specific problems, you might want to consider regularly monitoring your water.

What to Expect from Your Test
You will receive your test kit with containers and complete instructions. Simply follow the instructions, complete the order form, and ship to the address given via Next Day Carrier.
Your results are typically completed and mailed within 10 to 15 days from the date samples are received at the laboratory. Results are also available more quickly via email, if you provide your email address on your paperwork.
Test results are presented in an easy to understand format outlining what was found in your sample, and comparing it to established standards or guidelines.
